I've done some reading on the same issue on the Occy forums, and tried some of the suggested solutions, but none of them have worked. an unknown issue with the new 8th generation intel hardwareįortunately, I can still get into Elite, so it's just a minor inconvenience that I can't get to the desktop version.On this install, my gut feel it's one (or more) of the following: Over the last 2 days, I've tried done 3 installs of windows in an attempt to fix this. I've only installed mobo drivers, Google chrome, geforce experience and gfx drivers before I installed the Rift. This is a new build with a new install of windows. However, I've still got the same error message. Just reinstalled Oculus client, and Elite didn't need re-installing.
